wow…nice break! hmmm…might need to visit marakei..
I’m told Peace Corps surfed here. This is in front of the copra shed..a right hander. Lefts break on the other side of this passage, where boats tie up and ferry people to the beach.. North of what you see the reef seems to curve “out” and I could see other “set ups” These waves were only 3′ and were not long rides I I bodysurfed it) There appeared little swell, but the offshore breeze was consistent (i was assured) Top surf spot I reakon. Need to get some Boogie Boards for the kids!
