Thanks Aline..the water is kinda “milky” at low tide, but soon turns a beautiful turquoise. The I Kiribati are renowned sailors. Not hard to understand why..
Best, Jonny
I just love the colour in the water and the composition. This image takes on a surreal look that feel that transports me there. It is good to know that you’re not to fare away. Thank you for taking up the cause for the people of Kiribati and showing the human face of global warming for those to distant, to ignorant and to selfish to care.
You’re a champion for humanity and a genuine “Human Being”.
Thanks Paul. Wading out to these guys was really awkward, as the tidal mud was very lumpy and slippery. I almost tumbled in several times and held the cameras as best over my head. It WAS worth it! Thanks for your kind words and all your support. It means alot to me here in Kiribati. I dont know how “genuine” a Human Being I am, however it’s worth trying!
Best, Jonny
Love to play that but I can’t..IKiribati people says that only men can play this came:DDD but for sure we can do it! The water there is not quite good as it looks milky but believe me it gonna become wonderful when high tide I think..its true that it gonna turns to a beatiful turquoise.
Nice pic!..Merry Xmas Jon!
